Fighting out of Sacramento, California, and founder of the martial arts gym Team Alpha Male – UFC Hall of Famer, Urijah Faber continues lead the way for fighters in the MMA community. He has multiple titles in the WEC as Featherweight Champion and also fights in the UFC in the Bantamweight Division. Faber is known for his determination and resilience and is a legend to other fighters, students, and fans. He has pioneered the way for the lighter weight classes making him an influential character with a huge pull.
Fighting out of Sacramento, California and training at Team Alpha Male, Cody “No Love” Garbrandt is one of the biggest names in the bantamweight division of the UFC and has recently made his way into the flyweight division. His nickname originates from his uncle for when he was outperforming professional fighters at the age of 14. Josh Emmett is someone to be scared of in the Octagon and will continue to make a name for himself in the world of MMA.
Max "Pain" Griffin
Max’s inspiration came from wanting to be a Ninja Turtle has turned him into a beast in the Octagon. Why is he named Max “Pain” Griffin? Because he “Inflicts pain on his opponents”. He almost ripped one of his opponent’s ears off. Griffin is no stranger to knockouts. He competes in the Welterweight class and has been titled West Coast Fighting Championship 170 & 185 Champion, West Coast 170 Champion, and Tachi Palace Fights 170 Champion. Max Griffin may be intimidating, but he also has huge influence on his local community as he’s launched fundraisers to benefit House of Moons and Sacramento’s Pankration Athletes.
Cub "Killer" Swanson
Cub “Killer” Swanson is one of the most entertaining fighters to watch in the UFC due to his power and unpredictability. Originally from Palm Springs, CA, Cub fights in the featherweight class of the UFC and is one of the toughest to do so. It’s not uncommon for Cub to break his hand and still win a fight showing his true grit and determination. Swanson’s unique fighting style and life as a coach make him an influential fighter that fans and fighters admire in the community admire.
